Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor lost his mom, producer Mona Shourie Kapoor on March 25, 2012. She suffered multiple organ failure reportedly after battling cancer. Today, Thursday marks the ninth death anniversary of Mona Kapoor. On her ninth death anniversary, Arjun and his sister Anshula Kapoor made emotional posts on Instagram, remembering their mother. The Gunday actor shared a picture of his late mother and penned a long caption expressing how much he misses her. His sister Anshula also shared a photo of her late mother and wrote a long caption.
Arjun Kapoor shared his mom Mona Kapoor’s photo and wrote, “It’s been 9 years, it’s not fair ya I miss u Maa come back na please...” The actor added, “I miss u worrying about me, fusing over me, I miss seeing ur name calling on my phone, I miss coming home & seeing u... I miss ur laugh, I miss ur smell, I miss being called Arjun with ur voice echoing in my ear. I really miss you Mom.” Arjun revealed how much he misses his late mom and continued, “I hope ur ok wherever u are, I’m trying to be ok too, on most days I manage but I miss u... come back na...” The actor wrote an emotional note, remembering his late mom.

Anshula Kapoor, Arjun’s sister shared in her post how it’s been nine years since she held her mom’s hand for the last time. She mentioned that she still has conversations with her mom in her heart. But, Anshula said that she would give anything to have just one more conversation with her in person where she can hear her mom talk. Arjun’s sister wrote, “9 years without you is already a lifetime.” She shared about missing her mom’s voice, hugs, laughter, advice, smile, ability to take away her dark clouds, smell, and love. Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor lost his mom just months before his Bollywood debut. The actor made his Hindi film debut with the movie Ishaqzaade that was released on May 11, 2012. The film featured Arjun and Parineeti Chopra in key roles.
